Atlantic Salmon

Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar) is found in the Northern Atlantic Ocean. Its mild taste and melt in your mouth texture has given Atlantic Salmon worldwide popularity and consumption. Because of this, Atlantic Salmon is mostly farmed from aquaculture in Norway, Chile, Canada and Scotland. Salmon is very high in protein and a rich source of vitamin A, the B-group vitamins and Omega-3 oils. Very often it is served as a main course, in salads, spreads, and very popular as sashimi.
