Hog Fish (Lachnolaimus maximus) is a native species in the Western Atlantic Ocean. Known as the Hog fish because of its large, elongated snout. The Hog Fish is a popular species for the spear/reef fishermen and is regarded by chefs for its amazing taste and firm texture.
